Aidan is a trial lawyer who has represented and advised clients in patent litigation and licensing matters across a myriad of industries including: computer architecture, display technology, wireless standards and technologies, graphics processing, codecs, cryptography, semiconductors, telecommunications, smartphones, televisions, streaming technologies, networking technologies, LED systems, consumer appliances, imaging systems, and security technologies.

Aidan has experience in all phases of patent litigation and intellectual property matters, including performing due diligence on patent portfolios, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, and advising clients on licensing and compliance issues.

Aidan is a technically trained software engineer with a degree in Computational Informatics from the University of Michigan, where he studied computer science and mathematics with a focus on programming and data science. Prior to joining Kramer Alberti, Aidan was most recently an associate with Dentons’ Patent Litigation practice group in San Francisco.

Polaris PowerLED Technologies, LLC v. Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (E.D. Tex.)   – Represented Polaris PowerLED Technologies in patent case involving automatic brightness control technologies used in smartphones, tablets, and televisions. Obtained favorable settlement just prior to commencement of trial.
(E.D. Tex.)  – Represented leading Taiwanese semiconductor company in patent infringement matter. Case settled under favorable terms.
 Successfully obtained several denials of 'inter partes' review institution before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
